Tree Stump Grinding

After a tree is removed the tree stump will remain in the ground. It is a good idea to have the tree stump ground down below grade for a couple of reasons. First, if you have a tree removed, you want to make sure that the tree stump that is left behind is ground down below grade so that there is not a trip hazard left behind. Second, by grinding the stump, the trees root system is less likely to survive and therefore will not continue to push water sprouts up around the same area where the tree was located.
