Occupational Medicine (OM or OccMed) is the branch of clinical medicine concerned with occupational health. The goal of occupational medicine is to keep people well while in the workplace by advising about on-site safety, practicing injury and disease prevention, conducting fitness for work assessments, and guiding rehabilitation for workers who became ill or injured on the job so they can recover and return to work quickly.
