In 2015, Mani Brothers Real Estate Group purchased Malibu Beach Inn Hotel and Spa in Malibu, California with the goal of redefining high-touch service; Not only in Malibu, but to be recognized around the globe. To assist them with this project, they enlisted luxury hotel veteran Gregory Day as President of Hospitality for the company; to oversee all elements of lifestyle and service for Malibu Beach Inn, and all future hospitality acquisitions and programming.

Nearly 7 years on, the Malibu Beach Inn property is ubiquitous in its recognition as one of the premier luxury hotels, worldwide. It has received countless awards and accolades including the readers of Conde’ Nast Traveler voting it #1 Hotel in southern California, as well as its current World Travel Awards designation as #1 Boutique Hotel in North America, and #1 Boutique Hotel in California.

In 2016 Mani Brothers added 12 contiguous acres in Napa, California where they are redesigning and reimaging an existing Property where guest room and public area designs are just the beginning of what will be a magnificent downtown resort. A second new-build development is planned as well.

Hawai’I has always been a draw for Mani Brothers, and in 2018 the hospitality division added the Iconic Hotel Hana on the island of Maui and have redeveloped this into the Hana-Maui Resort sitting on over 100 acres of ocean-front cliffs in beautiful Hana. The property is being fully redeveloped and renovated with an eye to luxury wellness and lifestyle components, but will retain all of the important local and cultural attributes that make Hana so different than any other place in Hawai’i. Although the famed road to Hana is an amazing experience with its waterfalls and beautiful vistas, the hospitality team at Mani Brothers is very aware that the 2+ hour drive of the 34 miles featuring 256 hairpin turns and 59 single lane bridges is not for everyone, so they have added private plane and helicopter options to get from North side of the island to our property in Hana; the last true Hawaiian place.
